Sociolinguistics LabI am currently a Research Fellow in BU's Sociolinguistics Lab. My research investigates morphosyntactic variation in Spanish-English Bilinguals' speech. This research will also be the topic of investigation for my Dissertation.

PAMLabI am currently conducting research in the Phonetics, Acquisition, and Multilingualism Lab (PAMLab). My work includes coding and analyzing phonetic features of Asian American speech production, as well as finalizing orthographic transcriptions of sociolinguistic interviews.

Previous Research Projects2019 - 2021 - This project investigated whether consenting in situations of uneven power dynamic are true acts of consent and incorporated computational modeling of consent using the Rational Speech Act framework.
Summer 2020 - I had the opportunity to work as a Graduate Research Assistant on the Spanish in Boston project. This research project analyzes the effects of language contact on the production of Spanish Coda /s/. Summer 2019 - I had the opportunity to work with a team of researchers to develop a model that generates referring expressions for objects in complex images. |
